Sek-loong Tan chairs the Board of the Left Right Think Tank and is a Melbourne-based social entrepreneur and management consultant. As a management consultant, he has worked with the Boston Consulting Group in London, Mumbai, and presently Australia, where he focuses on reform and organisational change in the public and social sectors. Sek most recently co-founded and served as Director of Operations and Strategy at Teach For Australia, a social enterprise with a mission to address educational disadvantage in urban, regional and indigenous Australia by transforming outstanding graduates into exceptional teachers and inspirational leaders. He continues to work with and advise numerous social enterprises. Sek holds Bachelor and Master degrees in engineering from the University of Cambridge, with studies in engineering, economics and psychology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
